Sectigo® S/MIME Mailbox Validated (MP)

Validation Method

The Certificate Authority (CA) needs to verify your control over the domain name to prove you have authority before issuing the SSL Certificate.

Additional Domains

Add additional Subject Alternative Names (SANs) to your SSL Certificate. This is a great option for securing multiple subdomains and websites.

Each additional Subject Alternative Name (SAN) needs its own validation. Each must be validated individually before the SSL Certificate can be issued. DNS validation methods are recommended when securing multiple sub domains.

End User Information

To ensure automated issuance, we need to know who will use and is legally responsible for the SSL Certificate.

This is usually the owner of the website. This information may be used for vetting purposes, partners shouldn't enter their details here. Fictitious information may delay validation and issuance.

Organization Information

Please enter an accurate company, business or entity name. If you're a sole trader just enter your full name.

Corporate Address

To assist with government, validation and legal requirements, enter an accurate legal corporate, business or home address.

This information is used for Organization Validation (OV) and Extended Validation (EV) and must match official records. Partners should avoid entering their own address details in this section.

Pre-Validation Reference

A pre-validation reference lets Trustico® reuse an organization validation we have already completed, so the organization stage of this Organization Validation (OV) or Extended Validation (EV) order is skipped and issuance is faster.

A new Organization Validation (OV) Certificate as a Service (CaaS) subscription is issued against an organization Trustico® has already validated. Enter the pre-validation reference for that organization here, as the order cannot be submitted without one.

Entering a reference is optional. It must be valid when the order is placed and it must match this brand, as a Trustico® reference works only for Trustico® products and a Sectigo® reference only for Sectigo® products. Leave this field blank if you do not hold a valid reference for this product. Pre-validation covers your organization only, so domain validation still applies.

One pre-validation reference covers the whole CaaS range, whether the product is branded Trustico® or Sectigo®, and it must be valid when the order is placed. If your organization has not been pre-validated yet, contact Trustico® before ordering. Pre-validation covers your organization only, so domain validation still applies.
